The Ohio Asian Awards allows the Asian American Commerce Group of Columbus to recognize and celebrate 14 outstanding local leaders from business, non-profit, and government sectors for their contribution to the vitality and success of the Asian American Community in Ohio.

The awards are open to anyone regardless of race or ethnic background.
Our award guidelines are outlined below.
1. Demonstrated efforts in increasing the awareness of the Asian
community through cultural events and community organizations
2. Advocates Asians politically, and has engaged with Asian Americans
3. Leads by example with commitments to activities and affiliations that make the Asian American community a better place for Asian Americans both professionally and personally
4. Made contributions considered to have had an impact
on Asian Americans or the Asian American community
5. Positive reputation and credibility
6. Has depth and breadth of community involvement
7. Supports The Ohio Asian Awards financially through a sponsorship
